Knysna Golf Club
Length of course: 5,831 meters
Well maintained, matured and flat parkland course situated on the shores of the tidal Knysna lagoon, and water comes into play on most of the 18 holes. This course is easy to walk and has some tricky holes. Trees, water and wind can easily be a factor.
The par-5 9th hole is the most formidable at Knysna. Although it only measures 435 meters, it channels through a wetland and golfers have to be wary of the reeds that flank both sides of the fairway. Don’t forget the little brook which runs across the fairway about 20 meters from the green.

Pezula Championship Golf Course
Length of course: 6,394 meters
The Pezula experience, we call it. A spectacular, ‘links feel’ championship course with stunning views over the Indian Ocean and the Knysna Lagoon, right on the cliff top of the East Head of Knysna.
The course is set on an incredibly diverse coastal area and offers players the total golfing experience. A bit of your golf intellect is required, though. The course, together with the luxury hotel, makes this place one of the rarest on earth.

Simola
The Golden Bear's 18-hole championship course at Simola has been created to challenge the professional and inspire the ameteur.
The course offers challenging and rewarding golf amidst spectacular scenery. Set below the high ridges, it’s free from the wind that so often plagues coastal courses. |
